St Bridget's Graveyard
CLEAN UP PROJECT.
The first official project of Limerick Walking Tour CEO Leon Andersen is to Clean up The Paupers Graveyard at Watch House Cross Limerick also known as St. Bridget's Cemetery. The Cemetery is home to over 5000 nameless men, Women and Children who died during the great famine.
Leon has always known about this Graveyard from when he was a schoolboy taking a shortcut home to where he lived in Glennagross Park, Moyross and always showed respect to the souls that lay beneath him as he blessed himself while he walked through.
Contact has been made to Limerick County Council and I will update again In Due Course.
